Sipping Info
Bali Sourcing can arrange shipping to your nearest sea port or airport, using one of our very reliable shipping agents.
There are 5 ways cargo can move from here to you:
1. LCL Sea Cargo (less than a container - charged per cubic meter)
2. 20′ Container (30 cubic meters)
3. 40′ Container (60 cubic meters)
4. 40′ High Cube Container (72 cubic meters)
5. Air Cargo
LCL & Full Containers
Shipping via LCL means that your products are packed into paper cartons and then we build wooden crates around the cartons or we build wooden frame for the fragile items.
Your crates are then moved to our partner cargo company; official government documentation is completed; the shipment is then trucked to the port of Surabaya, Java (which is the closest international shipping port to Bali.)
Since your LCL shipment is just a few wooden crates and doesn’t fill a container, then it must wait at the port while the shipping company “consolidates” your order with other small orders in the same heading direction. While the shipping company waits for enough orders to combine with yours and fill a container — usual waiting time: 1-2 weeks.
LCL shipments have frequent handlings and thus, we do suggest all customer to take insurance on all shipment to cover against damage during transit. Insurance is charged at 2.5% on the value purchased of the goods
FCL - Full container load is available in:
• 20ft (30cbm)
• 40ft (60cbm)
• 40ft high cube (64cbm)
Shipments sent FCL are loaded in Bali and unloaded at the destination, hence there is considerable less handling and moving of the goods.
FCL shipments are more cost effective than sending anything more than 13cmb as LCL. Local clearance charges are charged per container or per cubic meter. Once 13 or more, it is often more economical to send FCL.

Delivery
The customer will be contacted by the nearest cargo agent approximately one week prior to the arrival of their order. Orders may be collected from the cargo agent’s warehouse facility or may be delivered to the customer’s doorstep by arrangement with the cargo agent. In order to receive the order, the customer must present the bill of lading, which is the official paperwork from the shipping line that is sent out to each individual customer by our partner agent you was selected once they have been notified that the customer has paid the shipping charges. For this reason it is important that customers
do not make any late payment of the charges as this may cause unnecessary delays.
